Lenses clean and scratch-free.
Scanner free of dirt.
Security tag
Security tag (tamper label) intact and undamaged.
Identify the model of your Ecart POS terminal. The box you just opened should contain the following items:

Use only the original charger and cable.
Do not open or attempt to repair the equipment.
Do not force ports or slots.
Keep the equipment clean and dry.
Using cards:
Chip (insert):
Insert the card completely.
Do not remove it until the equipment indicates.
Contactless:
Hold the card or phone within 4 cm.
Keep the device still during reading.
QR / barcodes:
Keep the code clean and well lit.
Adhere to the recommended distance.
Turn On / Off:
Turn On: Press and hold the power button for 5 seconds until the LCD screen lights up.
Turn Off: Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds until the shutdown menu appears, select Power Off > Click Power Off. The message Shutting Down (Powering Off). will appear.
Contactless transactions:
Bring a contactless card or smartphone close to the top of the terminal, where the sensor is located (identified by the contactless icon).
Chip transactions:
With the chip facing up, insert the card fully into the corresponding slot.
Magnetic strip transactions:
Option not available.
Receipts:
Detach the receipt at a 45° angle to the paper cutter.
Battery charging:
When the charging cable is connected, the charging status will appear on the screen.
Do not expose the terminal or battery to direct sunlight, excessive heat, smoke, dust, or humidity.
Do not attempt to disassemble the battery or insert foreign objects into the casing. Never place the battery in fire or on hot surfaces.
Avoid strong impacts or falls that may cause leaks or fires in the battery.
Keep the battery out of reach of children and animals.
Immediately replace any battery that is deformed, swollen or overheated.
It is recommended to use only power adapters supplied by Ecart Pay.
If you use third-party accessories, make sure they comply with international specifications and regulations.
Using incompatible chargers or batteries can cause fires or explosions, and will void the product warranty.
Charge the battery when the level is low, but never for more than 24 hours in a row.
If the battery is not used for a long time, charge it at least every 6 months to avoid damage from overcharging or discharging.
For optimal performance, it is recommended to replace the battery every 2 years of continuous use.
Dispose of the device, battery or accessories responsibly and in accordance with local regulations. They should not be thrown away as household waste.
Use Ecart Pay adapters and cables for better battery life and device longevity.
If the battery has more than 2 years of use, consider replacing it.
Physical damage.
Strange messages on screen.
Constant failures in payments.
Damaged security tag.
Stop using it and report it to the support area.
Desktop Mode
The terminal is powered mainly by an external source (charging dock, adapter or wireless charging).
Mobile Mode
The terminal operates mainly on battery power, without connection to an external source.
